Icon See You: Meeting Maureen McCormick (ex-Rebecca) left Galen Gering (Luis) in awe. "She's part of a show that's a chunk of modern America," says Gering. "Marcia Brady [McCormick's character on The Brady Bunch] is a cultural icon. She was tangible, whereas Olivia Newton-John [Sandy, Grease] wasn't. I couldn't compete with John Travolta [Danny, Grease], but I could handle Peter Brady! When I saw Maureen on the set for the first time, the light was hitting her eyes, and she was Marcia - I even [envisioned] a football bouncing off her nose!"
