Profile Maintenance

21.1 Profile Maintenance Overview

Selecting My Profile from the main menu will open a window entitled My Profile Maintenance. My Profile Maintenance displays all of your personal user account information in PostalCare.

Your name information can be edited and updated here.

The Change Password option is also available to change your PostalCare Login Password.

21.2 Modifying Your Profile

21.2.1 Name Fields

The First Name field displays your first name as it was entered into the PostalCare system. Your first name is not required. You can modify your first name by deleting the current entry and typing in the new name.

The Middle Name field displays your middle name as it was entered into the PostalCare system. Your middle name is not required. You can modify your middle name by deleting the current entry and typing in the new name.

The Last Name field displays your last name as it was entered into the PostalCare system. Your last name is not required. You can modify your last name by deleting the current entry and typing in the new name.

When you have finished making any modifications to your name, click on the Update Profile button to save the changes.

21.2.2 Access Level

The Access Leve field displays the level of PostalCare access assigned to you.

There are 5 levels of PostalCare access privileges.

Table 21-1 Incoming Email Statistics
Statistic Description
Recipients Recipients have no PostalCare access privileges. They are allowed only to receive emails through PostalCare.
Users Users have basic PostalCare access. Users can login to PostalCare, view email statistics, and maintain their own Whitelist and Blacklist.
Group Administrators Group Administrators can login to PostalCare and perform maintenance on anything having to do with their entire group, including users and recipients.
Division Administrators Division Administrators can login to PostalCare and perform maintenance on anything that has to do with the entire division, including groups, users and recipients.
System Administrators System Administrators have complete PostalCare access privileges.

21.2.3 Change Password

Clicking on the Change Password button will open a new pop-up window entitled Change Password. The window contains the option to change your current password to a new one.

Note: Your new password must be at least 6 characters in length, and must contain both numbers and letters. Special characters are not allowed in passwords.

You will need to enter in your old password, and then a new password and verify the new password. Then click on the Change Password field to complete changing the password.
