Maureen has the co-starring role in "The Million Dollar Kid".

Maureen has the co-starring role (along with fellow TV icon Richard Thomas) in "The Million Dollar Kid." An action-comedy for the whole family, it premieres on home video on 1/18/2000. This will be followed by airings on HBO and Starz in the summer/fall season.

Maureen plays the title role of Betsy Hunter. When their son loses a winning lottery ticket, Betsy and family are drawn into a wild chase to find the ticket and cash it in, before some sleazy bad guys get to it first.

Maureen plays Mandrell in CBS Movie Maureen McCormick plays the title role in Get to the Heart -- The Barbara Mandrell Story , a 2-hour telefilm for CBS. Maureen played the 49-year-old Barbara Mandrell from her teenage years through adulthood.

The story covers the rise of the award-winning entertainer, including Mandrell's return to performing after recovering from a near-fatal car accident in 1984.

Maureen is a natural for playing the part of Barbara Mandrell , having always had a strong interest in Country Music.
