19.1.3 Sender: Total Email Count
The Sender: Total Email Count reports display the top
20 senders of incoming emails, outgoing emails and internal emails
through PostalCare. The reports are generated based on the
count of emails sent.
For each record, the sender's email address, last message date and
time, count and volume details are displayed.
- Sender: Total Email Count - Incoming
This report displays the top senders of emails to email recipients
within this organization by count. They are listed regardless of
whether their emails are blocked/spam or delivered. For example:
Where "[email protected]" is the sender email address displayed.
- Sender: Total Email Count - Outgoing
This report displays the top senders of emails to email recipients
outside this organization by count. They are listed regardless of
whether their emails are blocked/spam or delivered. For example:
The email address displayed in this report is the sending email
address (i.e. [email protected]).
Note that
if a sender was blocked for attempting to illegally relay off this
organization's SMTP server, they will also be listed here if they are
in the top 20 records by count.
- Sender: Total Email Count - Internal
This report displays the top senders of internal emails (within this
organization) by count. Both sender and recipient are internal in this
case. For example:
The sender's email address ([email protected]) is the one
displayed in this report.
19.1.4 Sender: Total Email Volume (KB)
The Sender: Total Email Volume (KB) reports display
the top 20 senders of incoming emails, outgoing emails and internal
emails through PostalCare. The reports are generated based on the
volume in KB of the emails sent. For each record, the
sender's email address, last message date and time, count and volume
details are displayed.
- Sender: Total Email Volume - Incoming
This report displays the top senders of emails to email recipients
within this organization by volume. They are listed regardless of
whether their emails are blocked/spam or delivered. For example:
Where "[email protected]" is the sender email address displayed.
- Sender: Total Email Volume - Outgoing
This report displays the top senders of emails to email recipients
outside this organization by volume. They are listed regardless of
whether their emails are blocked/spam or delivered. For example:
The email address displayed in this report is the sending email
address (i.e. [email protected]).
Note that
if a sender was blocked for attempting to illegally relay off this
organization's SMTP server, they will also be listed here if they are
in the top 20 records by count.
- Sender: Total Email Volume - Internal
This report displays the top senders of of internal within this
organization by volume. Both sender and recipient are internal in this
case. For example:
The sender's email address ([email protected]) is the one
displayed in this report.
19.1.5 Sender Correspondence: Total Email Count
The Sender Correspondence: Total Email Count reports
display the top senders of emails and their recipients on all incoming,
outgoing and internal emails. The senders are displayed whether their
emails were blocked/spam or delivered. The reports are generated by
count of emails sent. For each record, the sender's
email address, recipient's email address, last message date and time,
count and volume details are displayed.
- Sender Correspondence: Total Email Count -
Incoming
This report displays the top senders of
incoming emails and their recipients within this organization by count.
For example:
Both sender and recipient email addresses are displayed.
- Sender Correspondence: Total Email Count -
Outgoing
This report displays the top senders of
outgoing emails and their recipients outside this organization by
count. For example:
Both sender and recipient email addresses are displayed.
Note that if a sender was blocked for attempting to

listed here if they are in the top 20 records by count.

recipients of internal emails (within this organization) by count. For

19.1.6 Sender Correspondence: Total Email Volume (KB)
The Sender Correspondence: Total Email Volume (KB)
reports display the top senders of emails and their recipients on all
incoming, outgoing and internal emails. The senders are displayed
whether their emails were blocked/spam or delivered. The reports are
generated by the volume in KB of the emails sent. For
each record, the sender's email address, recipient's email address,
last message date and time, count and volume details are displayed.

incoming emails and their recipients within this organization by
volume. For example:

Outgoing
This report displays the top senders of
outgoing emails and their recipients outside this organization by

Note that if a sender was blocked for attempting to

listed here if they are in the top 20 records by volume.

This report displays the top senders and
recipients of internal emails (within this organization) by volume For
example:
Both sender and recipient email addresses are displayed.
19.1.7 SMTP Server: Total Email Count
The SMTP Server: Total Email Count reports display the
total number of incoming, outgoing and internal emails processed by
each SMTP server IP address listed. The reports are generated based on
the count of emails received and include emails that
have been successfully delivered or blocked/spam. For each record the
SMTP server IP address, last message date and time, count and volume
details are displayed.
- SMTP Server: Total Email Count - Incoming
This report displays the total count of incoming emails processed
by each SMTP server. The count includes blocked, spam and delivered
emails.
- SMTP Server: Total Email Count - Outgoing
This report displays the total count of outgoing emails processed
by each SMTP server (including blocked and delivered emails).
Note: If outside SMTP servers attempted to use this
organization's SMTP server as an illegal relay, their IP address will
be listed in this report as well.
- SMTP Server: Total Email Count - Internal
This report displays the total count of internal emails processed
by each SMTP server listed (including blocked and delivered emails).
19.1.8 SMTP Server: Total Email Volume (KB)
The SMTP Server: Total Email Volume (KB) reports
display the total volume of incoming, outgoing and internal emails
processed by each SMTP server listed. This includes emails that have
been successfully delivered, blocked and spam emails. The reports are
generated based on the volume in KB of emails
received. For each record the SMTP server IP address, last message date
and time, count and volume details are displayed.
- SMTP Server: Total Email Volume - Incomin
This report displays the total volume of incoming emails processed
by each SMTP server.
- SMTP Server: Total Email Volume - Outgoing
This report displays the total volume of outgoing emails processed
by each SMTP server.
Note: If outside SMTP
servers attempted to use this organization's SMTP server as an illegal
relay, they will be listed in this report as well if any volume
statistics exist.
- SMTP Server: Total Email Count - Internal
This report displays the total volume of internal emails processed
by each SMTP server.
19.1.9 Recipient: Spam Email Count
The Recipient: Spam Email Count report displays the
top 20 (max) recipients of incoming spam emails through PostalCare. The
reports are generated based on the count of spam
emails addressed to each recipient. For each record, the recipient
email address, last message date and time, count and volume details are
displayed.
- Recipient: Spam Email Count - Incoming
This report displays the top inside email recipients who have had the
most incoming spam emails addressed to them by count. For example:
The inside email recipient address is displayed (i.e.,
[email protected]).
Note: Honeypot email
addresses that appear in the list will have (Honeypot)
beside them.
Note: Outgoing emails and
internal emails can never be blocked as spam. This is done in
PostalCare to avoid an email recipient within PostalCare from being
labeled as a spammer and having all of their outgoing emails blocked.
However, if an inside email recipient within PostalCare sends an email
that triggers a policy with an action that labels the email as spam,
that email will be blocked (if the policy applies to outgoing and
internal emails).
